When does the fall cheer registration close?
Fall registration typically concludes in March and April to ensure uniforms are ordered and received before the start of the season in August.
What equipment is provided versus required by the athlete?
The program provides uniforms, pompoms, a practice shirt and bow(s). Uniforms and pom poms are for use and must be returned. Cheerleaders are responsible for purchasing their own cheer sneakers (coaches will communicate style/brand) and white no-show socks.
Is previous cheer or gymnastics experience required?
No prior experience is necessary! Our coaches focus on foundational skills and progression for all levels of athletes. It is beneficial that athletes work on their skills during the offseason.
Which team will my child be assigned to?
Teams will be determined after registration has been completed. Your child will be assigned to a team based on their age and birth date.
When are games and do we have to attend away games?
Games are held on a Saturday or Sunday. All cheerleaders besides Kindergarten will attend away games. Games typically start the weekend after Labor Day. The schedule will be available to cheerleaders the week before Labor Day.
When are practices and when will cheerleaders receive thier practice schedule?
Practices begin as early as August 1. Coaches provide the August schedule by June/July, and the Fall schedule by August. Cheerleaders will receive their final practice schedule by the end of August.
Are practices mandatory?
Competition practices are mandatory. Cheerleading is a team sport; absences affect the whole team. Game Day practices are important but less strict as long as prior notice is given.
When are competitions?
Competitions are typically held in October and November, but some can be held in late September or early December. Specific dates are TBD.
When will my child receive a uniform?
Each cheerleader will receive a uniform in August for the season. These must be returned at the end of the season.
Will I be able to receive a full refund?
Full refunds are not possible because funds are spent early on apparel and other program items.
